1979 Year Group Reunion

"Seventeen from Year group 1979 met up on Saturday 28th October in Sewards End Hall, with others arriving in the evening to meet at the Cross Keys in Saffron Walden. It was a heart-warming and happy occasion and lovely to see faces reappearing after 46 years, and to hear a variety of interesting life stories. We were greatly blessed by lots of good food and good will. We look forward to welcoming back friends near and far who sadly couldn’t make it this year, but it was very encouraging to see people venturing back from all over the UK. Chris Smith and Martin Hugall joined us for part of the time. We are still managing to have a lot of fun together and realised that our bonds and friendships are just as strong as ever.
